New Business Cards!

So August has been a crazy month! We’ve had weddings mostly doubles every weekend. I can’t wait to do a recap on the month of August. The images are fantastic. While we geared up for the busy season we of course had to update our business card collection. With so many awesome images it was hard to narrow them down.

If your ever at a wedding that we photograph.. you’ll have to check them out! Last weekend we were down in New Haven for Katherine and Jay. We knew we were in for a good time because we have already “hung out” out with them at Sarah and Pete’s wedding last September! Well what do you know… a couple of Sarah and Pete’s wedding images made the new business cards. I think this picture sums up how excited they were to be famous.

Yes, Pete and Sarah.. you are both a very big deal!

Spring has Sprung..

I don’t know about any of you but I’m really craving the nice weather this year. I’m so anxious the flowers to bloom and to finally see all of that green! Here at Perfect Wedding Photo we are anxious to get outside, go for bike rides, and play in the backyard. Erik and I were even throwing the idea of having a PWP mini golf tournament. How much fun would that be. I would win of course… but still it would be a fun time!  We have a busy season coming up. Saturday we will be at the Ballroom Veronique for Brianne and David’s wedding. We are looking forward to being outside and shooting again.
I thought I would share some “green” images from past weddings so we can all get in the spirit for SPRING!  And of course in honor of the Red Sox and opening day being yesterday I included some images from a wedding we shot at Fenway Park.
Enjoy the weather everyone!

Thank You from Michelle and Chris!

Wow, I haven’t updated in awhile. A couple weeks ago Erik and I shot Michelle and Chris’s wedding at the Red Lion Inn. What a fun time we had! We presented them their vplay last week and they loved it! Michelle was kind enough to write up a little testimonial for us to put on the blog!

I have known Erik for a few years now and we always talked about how when I got engaged he would shoot my wedding. Well once I actually got engaged he was first on my list of people to call…and I couldn’t be happier that I did! Not that I ever had any question in mind…I had seen many of his albums and v-plays over the years and was always amazed at how each one seemed to top the last! Erik is an amazing photographer with so much enthusiasm that every one is smiling and laughing the whole time. The photographs are all you have left from the whirlwind that is your wedding day and Erik and Colleen captured every moment so beautifully that we will never forget a detail.

It’s so nice to come back from weddings and hear all this positive feedback from everyone. We truly love what we do and we love sharing your special day with you. Here’s Michelle and Chris’s Vplay, Enjoy it as much as they did!

Ohhh… Shiny!

I was kind of hoping Erik would show up my post with some pictures from his recent trip to New York.  I guess he’s just a little slow this week. Just kidding E ☺

We love when it’s a busy wedding season. Each wedding day is an opportunity for us to shine by capturing brilliant and creative images. However, we are in that lovely season called winter or “off-season”.  So it’s a little slow with only a few weddings in the next couple months. On the other hand, we are having a ball designing albums for our previous clients.

It’s so rewarding to shoot all of these weddings and then come back and start designing their album.  You may notice on your wedding day Erik shooting certain things you may not even realize what he is shooting. I remember one wedding where he told me he was going to get the case of equipment so we could move it into the reception room. So I thought to myself, I want to see what he’s actually doing when he’s getting the case. Sure enough there’s Erik with his camera crawling around shooting flowers, architecture, anything shiny that catches his eye! Thanks to his creativeness, we use a lot of these detail shots for backgrounds for the pages of the albums. I think it’s those shots that really bring the albums together. So thanks Erik, for being distracted by shiny things!
Enjoy some of these detail shots, and I sure hope Erik doesn’t poke fun at me too much when finally decides to post on here!  AlsoI have two new albums to unveil on here in the next post, so keep your eyes open for those awesome details used in the backgrounds.

Lights.. Camera.. Patriots!

Well Happy 2008 everyone! I hope everyone had a great holiday and a happy new year. I just wanted to update everyone on something very cool that happened at one of the weddings this past weekend.

Kym and Greg are huge Patriots fans and of course their wedding day happened to fall on the night of the big game. Not only that but they managed to get a TV at their reception site (Lakeview Pavilion) so everyone could enjoy the wedding and the game! Well long story short. But NECN got wind of this and came to do a story for the news that night!

Here is the link to the video… I hope it works for everyone:

I also had to share these screen captures from the video… Erik and I hard at work!

It was a great night for both Kym and Greg and of course for the Patriots! 16-0!!
