What an Amazing Weekend!

All I can say is wow!!! The past couple weeks have been so great image wise! Two weeks ago we were at Castle Hill and last week we were in Newport RI. I will post more about Castle Hill later on today!
Erik and I had a blast at Jen and Ryan’s Wedding. I couldnt help but show you all a sneak peak at what we captured. It was hard to choose which images to show because there were so many amazing ones! I don’t envy Jen and Ryan when they have to choose images for an album. I would want them all in there! Their wedding was in Newport RI. Right on the ocean. The ceremony was in this beautiful stone chapel . It was candlelit and had a very European feel to it. The reception was at the Newport Officer’s Club. Everything that went into this day was perfect. Jen looked stunning in her gown. I know Ryan couldn’t take his eyes off her. Both of their families were great to work with. We felt apart of the family the entire day. I could go on and on about how much fun we had. But just look at the photos and you will understand!
To Jen and Ryan, Thank you for letting us be apart of your special day. We were honored and thrilled to work with such a beautiful and fun loving couple! We wish you all the best. Congratulations!

Thank You from Michelle and Chris!

Wow, I haven’t updated in awhile. A couple weeks ago Erik and I shot Michelle and Chris’s wedding at the Red Lion Inn. What a fun time we had! We presented them their vplay last week and they loved it! Michelle was kind enough to write up a little testimonial for us to put on the blog!
I have known Erik for a few years now and we always talked about how when I got engaged he would shoot my wedding. Well once I actually got engaged he was first on my list of people to call…and I couldn’t be happier that I did! Not that I ever had any question in mind…I had seen many of his albums and v-plays over the years and was always amazed at how each one seemed to top the last! Erik is an amazing photographer with so much enthusiasm that every one is smiling and laughing the whole time. The photographs are all you have left from the whirlwind that is your wedding day and Erik and Colleen captured every moment so beautifully that we will never forget a detail.
It’s so nice to come back from weddings and hear all this positive feedback from everyone. We truly love what we do and we love sharing your special day with you. Here’s Michelle and Chris’s Vplay, Enjoy it as much as they did!

Weekend Getaways…

Well it’s been a couple weeks since I last posted so here goes!
Last weekend both Erik and I went away for the weekend. He went with his family to visit his brother in New York and I was in sunny Florida! I think I got the better end of the deal on that one. I was there running the Disney half marathon. It was such an awesome experience. I enjoyed it so much that I already signed up to do it again next year!
I ran the 13.1 miles with my dad and we were just happy that we survived! I’m even crazy and took my little point and shoot camera with me and took pictures of every mile marker along the course. The race started at 6am and in typical disney fashion there were fireworks, live bands, characters everywhere along the route. So needless to say, you have a lot to look at while you’re running. Here are some of the professional race pictures mixed in with mine
