Tina and Jason… 2/9/2008

Our first wedding of the 2008 season was Tina and Jason’s held at the Red Lion Inn in Cohasset. Wow! What a way to start the year. We loved this couple. They were so fun to work with. Erik and I kept saying how much fun we were having and how much fun their wedding was as a whole. It really was a great day. Not to mention they got a beautiful snowfall on their wedding day.
We started off where Tina was getting ready. She looked gorgeous and we got some amazing pictures of her. Here we captured her in from of this red closet, which made for an interesting background.

The Red Lion Inn has so many great places to photograph. I loved the woodsy feel to the place. Right after the ceremony we took Tina and Jason outside for some formal photos in the falling snow. I loved Tina’s face when Jason started to pick her up and swing her around. Classic!

The lighting on this day was so perfect. It was such a great way to start the season. We took the couple outside for a couple more “Hero” shots around the Red Lion Inn before we headed home.

As you can see we had another great couple and another great day. There were so many more amazing images from this wedding. I would have posted them all on here but then the site might have crashed. That wouldn’t be good. However I should be finishing up with their vplay tomorrow so when that is done I’ll post it on here right away. It should be great. Oh yeah and of course I couldn’t resist sharing this photo Erik took of me with Tina and Jason. Best picture of the bunch, don’t you agree!! Thanks Tina and Jason for an awesome day and I hope you had an awesome honeymoon in PARIS!!

Albums, Albums, Albums!

Anyone sick of this winter weather yet? I know I am. However, the snow does provide for really pretty photographs.
We’ve been doing a lot of album designing the past couple of weeks. It’s been really nice to have the spare time to really get deep in the design process.
Here’s one of my favorite recent albums we have designed. Sheila and Terry got married at the beautiful Lord Thompson Manor in Connecticut in October 2006. The images from this wedding were beautiful and I believe their album truly reflects that. Enjoy!

February 1st.. is it summer yet?

February 1st already! Where has the time gone? Some new things have been happening around the office this week.
For starters, way back in the beginning of the season I bet Erik that by the end of the 2007 wedding season he could quiz me and I would remember everyone’s name of every wedding I shot with him. Needless to say today the PWP crew decided to give me a very hard pop quiz with not only names, but dates, vplay songs, locations! I’m pleased to announce that I got 99% right and I only forgot one V-Play song. Darn it! I’ll hang it on the fridge when I get home!
Another new thing for the 2008 wedding season we started a new marketing plan for each wedding. After each wedding we want to come up with an 8×10 print that showcases the venue the wedding was held at. We also want to do this for florists, bakeries, etc. Here are two samples that we designed for the Boston Harbor Hotel and the Seaport Hotel. We are planning on sending them to each venue so they can display them to future clients. I think they came out beautiful.

Well I hope everyone has a good weekend and GO PATS!!!!
